Document Imaging: Many of our clients are migrating from traditional microforms (fiche, film) to a more flexible form of storage-electronic image. To meet this need, ICS offers a full range of image conversion services, offering clients maximum retrieval flexibility (e.g., rapid retrieval, multiple/simultaneous users), solutions to stringent document security requirements, and enhanced input capabilities (e.g., image-assisted data entry). ICS' senior management and staff have broad experience in OCR/ICR scanning, as well as sophisticated reject/reentry systems to handle severely skewed or damaged documents. ICS utilizes state-of-the-art document scanning technology and offers the capacity to process up to 20,000 documents per day within a 21-day ramp-up period. Due to ease of systems scalability, ICS can double that capacity within 30 days. Our systems provide us with capabilities of on-line image capture, ICR/OCR processing, character reject/repair input data entry and optional image output capabilities. ICS accommodates indexing requirements as simple or as complex as the customer's retrieval needs dictate. This may be a one or two-data-element index or a complex full-text index. Index elements can be captured via manual key entry, automated entry, or a combination.
